ClearShield® can be applied to almost any glass surface to upgrade it from ordinary glass to ClearShield® Eco-glass. From marine application to commercial sky-scrapers and food manufacturing - ClearShield® has a number of applications throughout the commercial market. Domestic / Residential users can also benefit from the use of ClearShield® in their own home including use on shower glass, kitchen splashbacks and even solar panels.
When applied to ordinary glass, ClearShield® cross-links to form a strong chemical bond that gives glass both high performance and durability. ClearShield® is completely transparent, chemically inert, non-hazardous and UV stable. Unlike other products Clearshield® is not a coating - it is a unique polymeric resin that becomes part of the glass so will not peel, flake or crack. ClearShield® prevents contaminants from bonding onto its surface and limits damage caused by corrosion or chemical attack. Furthermore, ClearShield® contains none of the harmful nano-particles which are found in other glass protection products.
